Zomunk alternative: a weekly flight deals email from India

3 min read · by Fareletter

If you have been looking at Zomunk for cheap international flights from India, it helps to know exactly what you get at each tier, and what else is out there. This is a plain comparison: what Zomunk offers according to its own help pages, what Fareletter does, and who each one suits.

What Zomunk offers

Zomunk is a deal alert service for international round-trip flights departing India. It is not a travel agency: when you pick a deal, it redirects you to Google Flights to book with the airline or an OTA.

Its free membership shows 1 in 10 of its curated economy-class deals. The full feed, including mistake fares, peak-season deals, and premium economy, business and first class fares, sits behind Premium, listed on its help pages at ₹1,799 a year, ₹2,999 for two years, or ₹3,999 for lifetime. Premium adds real-time notifications, baggage details and availability windows for each deal, a focus on full-service airlines with minimal stopovers, and a 3-day refund policy for first-time subscribers.

What Fareletter does

Fareletter is a weekly email of flight deals from India, with every deal also listed on the site.

We verify fares at the booking page. A fare does not get listed because a search result looked good. Each deal is checked at the booking stage before it goes up, and every listing shows the date it was last verified. Fares move fast, so treat any price as a snapshot, but you can see exactly when the snapshot was taken.

Savings are measured conservatively. We compare each fare against the usual price range Google Flights reports for that route, and we measure against the low end of that range, not the middle or the top. If a fare is not clearly below what the route usually costs, it does not get listed.

The letter is one email a week: the deals that cleared our bar, each linked to a full breakdown with the airline, route, baggage details and verification date.

Where Zomunk is ahead

Zomunk sends real-time alerts, which matters for mistake fares that can disappear within hours, and it covers premium cabins. If you want instant notifications and business or first class deals, and a paid tier is fine, Premium is built for that.

What we have live right now

These are real fares currently listed on Fareletter. "Usual" means the low end of the route's usual price range on Google Flights, checked on the date shown on each listing. Prices change and fares sell out; each card links to the live listing with its verification date and full details.

So which one?

If you want instant alerts, mistake fares and premium cabins, and ₹1,799 a year is fine, Zomunk Premium is built for that. If you want a weekly email where each fare is checked at the booking page and the savings numbers are measured against the low end of the usual range, that is what Fareletter is for.
